This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    search shows deleted *torrent files

    okie i knw more pr less torrent is illegal, but i swear i use it only for downloading wallpapers :D (hehehe , hope mods would buy this ).
    well the problem is when i type torrent in my search bar, i see all those deleted stone age old torrent files popping up in the search area.

    any idea.

    PS. i dont want others to know what all i download , :) hehe

    Torrents can be perfectly legal. Just look at the number of Linux ISO's and various other legal media you can download.

    Anyway... your search bar? In Windows, or in Firefox, or IE, or what?

    I'm guessing you didn't try Google?

    lOl, thanks man..actually i hadnt googled it before firing it straight here :), and yeah was talking about windows search bar.

    had tried all, run CCleaner everytime i download some *interesting*torrent and want no one to know tht :p but to my horror those torrent files popped up in the search bar when was searchin for somethin whcih start with "to.."only..

    the deleted folders could be found on application data folder/utorrent
    its hidden you may access it from document and setting / username
