i am selling my emachines M2105 on ebay, but i've never sold a laptop/computer to a stranger before. what should i do to "wipe" the computer clean? is a system restore good enough? or should i reformat the hard drive? any advice? i am somewhat worried about security, as i've been the victim of credit card fraud.![]()
any suggestions, advice would be much appreciated. thanks!

I would do a wipe of the machine. Just to make sure none of your personal stuff is there. I would use like Killdisk, just to make sure. Then do a system restore with the disk.
I am going to move this to the software section, you will get better responses there.
If you would like to post in the FS/FT forums list specs and price and see if you get some hits. -
there are already some hits on the laptop on ebay, so i can't really list it here! i don't even know how much to expect to get for this thing!
