On my old laptop, running windows XP, I noticed that when I called the shutdown options (either through start menu or by Alt + F4), I would be prompted whether to shut down, sleep, hibernate, or restart.

Now that I am using Vista (and actually, looking at windows 7 as well), I see that the "Ask me what to do" option is no longer available. What gives?

There's an "arrow" beside the shutdown button which give you more choices than what XP does.

I miss "ask me what to do" so much in vista when pressing the real power button.. i really liked that in xp, and since vista actually has that dialog, i dont understand why microsoft arent just making it an option >_<
