hello, i just read that silverlight (which i always installed without really knowing what it is) is a software like "adobe flash player" ? And also i read they both are compatible with each other. Might that be the problem for lagging videos in full screen ? Should i uninstall it or is it already needed ?

Well, as far as I am aware Silverlight can do the same as flash but both are independant.

Silverlight is a technology that Microsoft has developed to be a competition to Adobe flash. It should not interfere with flash. Some sites have Silverlight content therefore you need the plugin in order for your browser to render that content.

On that Side note... Flash 10 is buggy in IE8... Silverlight isn't...

hmm kay if u guys say so i guess i will leave it installed. thought that might be the reason why my streams are lagging hard after playing ~1 min in full screen ;x

Probably your GPU or internet.

if that would be true the problem would be in any daily news on tv and magazines, as this would affect ANY windows pc. your problem most likely is somewhere else.
silverlight
