    I just got a new dv5t running windows vista home premium (32 bit) with a T9400 @ 2.53 ghz, 3 gb of RAM and a 9600 m gt.

Here's my problem: when I'm loading tabs in firefox my audio tends to get choppy; as if I can't load websites and play music at the same time. It's getting really annoying. I feel like it might be Vista autoallocating more resources to firefox and ignoring winamp/WMP while tabs are loading, which is exactly the opposite of what I want, since that makes my music choppy as hell. Any ideas? Is it my drivers?

I usually keep a bunch of programs running at the same time (firefox, aim, gchat, zonealarm firewall, avg antivirus, spybot s&d, winamp). But I really only notice the slowness/chopiness when I'm loading tabs in firefox while playing music.
