hey guys i have a strange problem here. just a short while ago i tried burning a dvd to watch when i find out that after burning that the disc is blank! what is going on? the files have been sitting on my laptop for a while. i was able to successfully burn the files one other time before the disc quit on me. i convert using convertxtodvd and burn using starburn(obtained from giveawayoftheday.com).

while in starburn i noticed that the files totaled to only 1.6 gigs. is that right? do i need to reconvert the original file again? i only do this for my own benefit and not for profit. i only burn stuff that is hard to find like old wrestling shows and movies. just fyi. if this is illegal then i apologize for asking.

If you recorded the "stuff" off the TV and then try to burn that recording which you made by yourself (!!) only for yourself (!!), then it should be legal.
