So... know of any prettier applications that will show the current brightness and volume when you change them?

Whats wrong with quickset?
-
I removed it from the startup menu, volume and brightness still work, it just doesn't display.
-
Eh, yes... I know how to turn it off or stop if from starting. I would like a meter, though... something pretty like... like... Mac.

Unfortunately, I don't think this works for brightness, but it works well for Volume:

Meh. I just don't use Quickset, or anything. :twitcy:

I just use my eyes for a meter. I adjust the brightness til my eyes are satisfied. Screw the meter. It doesn't tell jack%&$*. The volume meter is crap also. Just adjust it til you are comfortable with it.

ok... thanks, Relativity17. I think I can do without the brightness meter, but I happen to like the volume meter. Ta. Thanks for the suggestions, people.
