starting windows fail

Please help me. My laptop is toshiba satellite running window7,i3
For the first time,keypad of my laptop is not working..then i normally shutdown.when restart, thing starts to happen.after 15-30 mins stuck in starting windows screen, the screen of system fail to start pop out..ask me to chose wther to start normally or repair.i already chose both options after 10 times of restart. Nothing happen..now i dunno what to do anymore..
Help me

 

Have you noticed any strange noise coming from your laptop as you use it? For example, a clicking noise?

 

^agree.
sounds like your hard drive is misbehaving. if you do have a clicking noise it is the HD arm continuously trying to park.
could you tell us the rest of your system spec, i3 what, gpu, ram, hard drive, graphics drivers loaded. more info the better.

you need to run a hard drive scan to see if you have any bad sectors but this is where it gets tricky as if you cant boot you cant run a scan
if you do manage to get it to boot properly then download HD Tune from my signature below.

 

Check your S.M.A.R.T status. HD Sentinel is a great utility for giving you the health of the disk in a DOS format. You can get a hold of HD Sentinel for free; I use Hiren's boot disc to gain simple access to the program outside of the OS. If there are bad sectors or heat damage, this utility will quickly let you know based off the S.M.A.R.T reading.

You can get the program standalone here. Though there are paid professional versions, I use the free DOS version included in Hiren's.

 

^OMG! your the first person that ive seen mention HD sentinel. every time ive mentioned it in the past people have never heard of it.
great bit of software that ive used for years. pro version is not much good to me now as running a ssd but still highly recommended.

 

I have the pro version for free (it was something I found in the Deals subforum awhile back). Don't use it too much, but it seems like a great piece of software that adds stuff that the Windows Defrag doesn't have.

been so long since i used the free version i cant remember what that had.
but the pro has
random seek test. tests seek performance,noise and temps.
full surface test. analyses disk surface with different methods
full hard disc test
verify and analyse on line. compare smart values with others of same drives.
and much more which i have no idea what its for

 

I might have to give that a test run! I've only used the DOS based version for assessment.
