I want to stream my music sound from winamp to my dekstop pc wich has good sound system connected. is there anyway to do that? the pc is connected with wifi router. I tried with bluetooth and there was i bit of luck, I had successful played my desktop music on laptop, but from laptop to desktop was impossible mission :) I had luck with winamp ShoutCast, but when i changed the song in my laptop, desktop makes any changes after meybe 50 sec. I don't know where is the problem about that.... I need music sinchro in real time. Just like bluetooth .....

Any other ways to do that like transfer music through lan or other media won't stick for me... :D

If you want to access the files on your laptop from your desktop, you need to enable network shares for you laptop or have a server running on your laptop.

Have you downloaded and installed Microsoft's Link Layer Topology Discovery ("LLTD") Responder and installed it on the XP machine?

If not, then that may be why going from the laptop (which runs _Vista) to the desktop (which runs XP) might be having problems, because _Vista uses a different protocol than does XP to "see" the network it's attached to, and _Vista has a hard time "seeing" XP-based machines on the network unless the XP machine as the LLTD Responder installed.

Of course, you could also just upgrade the desktop to XPSP3, because the LLTD Responder is built into SP3.

Shoutcast DNAS - tried that and there was high latency.

https://winamp.orb.com/orb/html/login.html - downloading this at the moment see if it will to work.

UPnP Streaming - Don't know how to do that.
Are you speaking about bluetooth connection?

Not as far as I know - the LLTD certainly applies to ethernet networks, but whether or not it also applies to bluetooth networks I do not know.

Try setting up your laptop as music repository, control your PC via remote-pc on the laptop, then play the music from your PC via this remote windows session sitting on your laptop.

    cheers ...
