Yesterday, i was using a tutorial online to make my computer look more like osx. So, i followed the tutorial and finished. Later searching for something better, i came across a guide, however it required SP1.

One of the things i had installed previously said not to install vista SP1 by any means. I couldn't find where to uninstall the item, so i did a system restore to earlier that day before i started editing. Now, it is stuck at Restoring the file registry, and has been going on for about 10 hours.

Should i just wait it out, see micro center tomorrow, or fix it myself?

There are a few files that are important, but nothing that is worth dying for.
