Ok here's the dillio. I need to buy a need laptop. I'm getting frustrated seeing so many "Currently unavailable" notices on laptops that I want with Windows 7. I'm rushing around like I MUST buy a Windows 7 laptop before they're gone.

    1. If I have to buy a Windows 8 laptop can I keep both OS? How? (I already have Windows 7 installation files in an iso, but I've never gone about doing a fresh install.)
    2. Is it unadvised or even bad to do downgrades and reinstalls?
    3. Would it be better to buy a Windows 7 laptop and upgrade later or buy 8 and then downgrade?

I guess that's all the questions for now.

    Thank you guys and gals.

lol latest crud. I'm not looking for a gaming laptop and my budget is tight (with taxes and stuff not over $700). I guess I just need to know which comp is the top of the line for the bottom liners. Thank you for your reply, MrDJ!

Would this be the right board for my first two questions?

    1. If I do buy a Windows 8 laptop, can I have Windows 7 ready to downgrade? How? (I already have Windows 7 installation files in an iso, but I've never gone about doing a fresh install.)
    2. Is it unadvised or even bad to do downgrades and reinstalls?
