This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    what's the best software to make webpages. i'd like to dabble in making a flash based webpage.

    Dreamweaver. the latest suite of software from Macromedia ties all their modules together.

    Macromedia got bought out by Adobe last year. Their products still exist. Adobe's new WebDesign Bundle incorporates all the Macromedia and Adobe products for web publication/design, but it's expensive. The acadmeic price is around $500.

    For flash, Flash MX is basic and good :)
