when I open my task scheduler I get a error message, after I click ok then it still lets me use or modify tasks. I am including a snip of the error and if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know.

could be corrupted data, try this:
    - open the task scheduler -> WindowsCalender folder
    - Remove all tasks in this folder, if present
    - delete the folder
    - restart windows
    - start calendar and set up a new appointment with reminder

    cheers ...

Create an account named Michael. It sounds like Scheduler is looking for a task that was hosed when an account was deleted. Perhaps recreating the account, but now without the task, will get it out of the loop. Sound good or was there never any such account or account that was deleted?
