Is there just a simple software out there that only reads the temperature of the cpu? None of this notebook hardware control or I8fan because those software conflict with my fan or lags my games...etc.

Speedfan does that, but it is still something running in the background. If you just want an idea of your processor's temp from time to time, check out Everest Home edition. You'll have to google it, because the company discontinued the free version. It's still out there though.

If you're looking for something to run constantly monitoring your temps Speedfan would probably be worth while.
