    theme windows without using any programs??

    Is it possible to theme your desktop by just downloading and adding them in the display properties?? or do you have to download a program to run them?? if so where can i find these themes?? thnx

    look up windows uxtheme patcher... it will allow you to use non-windows certified themes.. then go to a place like deviantart.com and go to the catagories, find windows visual styles and there should be a bunch there. I am using an ubuntu theme right now. And it doesn't slow down your system or screw with anything like windowblinds or stylexp

    Google "UXTheme Multi-Patcher".

    I forgot all the details but it patches the existing windows UXTheme.dll to allow you to use 3rd party visual styles.
