This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I finally download thunderbird and i was wondering is there any way i can get my hotmail account to work with it?

    There might be, but I seriously doubt it because I believe hotmail doesn't support POP like Gmail or some other email providers.

    Isn't there like a Hotmail Pro version or something that gives you POP abilities?

    Yes, you can POP Hotmail, but you have to subscribe to that service. I'd suggest Gmail as already noted.

    I would go with Gmail also. Its alot easier to configure. When i had hotmail, it would just add a set of folders to my Outlook. It was just a pain to use.

    theres a thunderbird extention that works great. its called *opens thunderbird* "WebMail" current version is 0.3.4. i dont have a link anymore, but you have to download a plugin for webmail called "Hotmail" lol. you can also get one "yahoo"
