Anyone got a good app that'll make windows transparent? Wanna be able to watch a video in the background as i'm messing with files and stuff. appreciated

there's plenty of freeware that gives you xparent windows, but what you're trying to do won't work because video playback is done via overlay

Download the demo executable. Run and drag the wand in the app window to the title bar of the window that you want to make transparent. -
Try glass2k . it a transparent program, it made every thing transparent.

I did, but there were too many programs/sites and I didn't know which one i could trust. Was hoping someone knew an opensource/shareware alternative.

yeah, you were right, video no workey. Glass2k was pretty good, but useless (to me) since it just blacked out the vids. I'm still hoping that there's some app out there that'll let me play videos under transparent windwows.Btw, anyone know if this sort of thing works in aero glass?
