recently my hotmail account when open in firefox wont let me click a darn thing, forcing me to use internet explorer to check my email.
when i click on my inbox or a message in my inbox, it just sits there as if i havent clicked a thing. any ideas what it could be?

I face the same problem sometimes, reloading the page solves the problem for me. Are you using the latest version with required plug-ins?

I'm sorry I cldn't be much help to you. This is not actually a solution; try Window Mail, its a lot faster way to check ur mail then a web browser

Did you disable javascript in FF3? If you did, then it could give you problems.
Tools -> Options -> Content
I don't have this problem with FF3. -
It's working absolutely great for me.
In Opera 9.62. -
Works Great For Me too
FF 3.0.4 and btw do you have NoScript Plugin try allowing all the blocked scripts. -

It does certainly sound like a JavaScript/Script issue. Could easily be NoScript if you are running that add-on extension.
Try starting Firefox up in safe mode to see if it works with add-ons disabled. -
thanks for the help everyone, but i just wound up doing a fresh install of vista because i wanted my RAID array back. FF works like a charm now.
