    turn off screen monitor?

    hello i have windows vista on my asus g50vt a1

    Im farming for weapns in tf2 and i would like to stay connected to the idle server im at and still run tf2 after i go to sleep but i would like to turn off just my screen and keep the processes going. is there anyway to do this?

    or will sleep mode do this?

    you can close the notebook lid and the screen will go off

    Close down the Lid = Sleep mode.
    This is the original setting for a laptop.
    However, you can change it at Power Option located in your Control Panel.
    Double click the Power Option in your Control Panel.
    On the Top-Left Side, select "Choose what closing the lid does".
    And adjust it as u wish.

    Try this TurnOffLcd

    Double click the icon to turn the screen off, move the mouse for the screen to come back on, you will need to make a shortcut to the .exe once extracted.
