    turning DEP off?

    is turning DEP off safe or speeds up the computer a bit?

    im gona do this so i can Run homeworld 2 on my vista :p

    Does it not work with DEP on? If so, you can just exclude that program from DEP, can't you?

    ima try excluding it, i tried it before and got a DEP error, and most forums ive googled say to turn off the DEP all together. i dunno if its worth it for 1 game hehe

    I have personally not seen any advantages of keeping DEP on, more of troublesome then it is worth.

    noexecutive=AlwaysOFF is my flag in boot.ini
