    undervolting and undercloking my hardware

    Is there a programme that you know of that is able to underclock and undervolt your hardware for preserve battery life.

    I have read an article about this subject here at notebook review, I cant find it back

    C2D 8400 and a 9600M GT

    You can undervolt your CPU and over/underclock your GPU following the guide here. It doesn't however underclock your CPU and underclocking your GPU has shown little to no benefits.
