My laptop came with vista basic
I want to upgrade it to home premium

does anyone know of a cheaper way of getting the upgrade rather than paying $108 for the windows anytime upgrade?
also can I do it without getting their special disc?

Then no. That's the cheapest way to upgrade, and you do need the disc if you don't have one.
