    upgrading windows 2000 to XP

    will i just simply boot from CD? or will i logon to windows and then run the XP disc in the 2000 environment?

    xp will boot from cd.

    have not heard from anyone using win 2000 for a long time. :)

    need to install XP as the stupid C400 Dell has no Cd rom or floppy. and windows XP from other machines don't boot when inserted internally in 2.5" format.

    does it support bootable usb sticks ?
