**urgent**....my 3gb document disappear?? ( vista)?

yesterday, it was still there. but this morning, when i was looking for some data in the c:\USERNAME\DOCUMENTS... it is GONEEEE.
it used to be more than 3gb folder, name it is only 3mb???? wth is happening???

I use some recovery program to check, but can find nothing, they are not deleted by mistake or else!!! I also "search", but they really no longer exist..

already used system recovery, however, as what is said on the title, "just system file" "no data is recoverd" ~_~

and here is the funny thing: after using System Recovery to return to feb23, my document now go goes up to 1gb ~_~ ok, that's not bad, but how can i find the rest 2gb data? SOME OF THEM ARE MY LEARNING MATERIAL... I CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT THEMMMMM

THIS IS INSANEEEEEEE....I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCE THIS BEFORE...PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPP

 

If you are using Vista then there's an option to do a folder restore. That's something I found out last week when a colleague has a problem of disappearing documents.

thanks god, i found it...it was somekind of virus...after scanning w Norton, my folder appears ~_~ (though It now in another location ~_~)

anw, John, there is folder restore in vista? please, be more specific
