The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hello,
    I have this file hidden on my desktop..Was wondering what file is this? It reads as a manifest file..Am i able to delete it?

    seems to be the universal share downloader. using google the first hits say it´s safe.
    it seems to be from xxx.dimonius.ru, so a russian company. though it seems to be safe,but you´ll never know. i would not like to have such a software running on my laptop. i´d delete it, since it "just" seems to belong to some download programm.
