ok i dont know if this is a really dumb question, but i know that with game consoles like xbox there are two formats one for Europe and one for Canada and the US. I live in the US, am i going to be running into problems if i am using a computer that was made for use in Europe here? Like if i buy a game or some other software here in the US is the European made laptop going to run it correctly? If there are format problems are there ways around them?
    Thanks allot!

You'll probably get region problems with the DVD player if you don't change the region over to the US.

What your referring to with consoles is the NTSC (US) and PAL (EUROPE) formats, don't know if PCs suffer from that stupidity (my opinion, mainly because I don't see what difference it makes).

Other than that I don't see any issues that could arise...

You do realise they're all "made in china" though ;) :D

You can change your DVD region up to 5 times on a PC DVD-ROM. You can also bypass with a certain known software (email me if you want it). You will also need a transformer for the AC adapter but you should already know that.

IIRC, PAL SD is 576i while NTSC is 480i. 480p/720/1080i/p and 1440p are common though

Yeah you will need an adapter not a transformer as all notebook AC adapters nowadays support 110-240V. :)

yeah so i knew the power thing would be a small problem...not really a difficult issue to solve though. But what im hearing from you guys is that the only real problem is the region on the dvd player, and i will be able to change that for sure? Otherwise there wont be any compatibility issues. I'm just really concerned spending $2000 on a laptop i will need to work for college, should i be concerned about it? and yes all made in china haha ;) that made me laugh!
this is helping allot though thanks allot

All components used in a Zepto bought at Zepto USA are equipped with US components. So you'll get a DVD drive out of the USA. All chargers we use are 100V-230V and can be used in any country. The only thing you need to change if you buy a EU unit is another power cord that fits the charger.
