while watching hd video thru my commercial player and vlc the video stutters when i am using it together with utorrent. is this normal?
is this caused by hdd limits ( isee the hdd lamp constantly on) or cpu limits (although both my players do gpu acceleration and cpu usage is not heave when monitored)?

Most probably your HDD, but possibly your CPU.
Open up your task manager and the look at the performance tab.
Utorrent is using your hdd for both uploading and downloading at the same time so its hitting the hdd hard, if you have multiple files its incrimentally worse.
Then HD video is also incredibly HDD intensive.
Utorrent is not super CPU heavy so its probably the HDD.
If you can put a movie on an external drive that would be a sure fire way to test it. -
ok thanks guys
utorrent and hd video
