    virtual clone drive and windows 7

    hey guys,

    i was looking for a image mounting software since daemon tools/alcohol didn't work on windows 7 when i stumbled upon this software. it didn't work that well for me so i tried uninstalling it but windows wont let me. everytime i click uninstall a fatal error occurs with the uninstaller and it won't work!

    can someone help me out? how do i get rid of this program?

    This was discussed earlier... oh well:

    Someone on the OcUK Forums had installed VCD on Windows 7 and had the same problem you are having.
    They ended up formatting. I would hazard a guess at that being the only option this early in development.

    Had the same prob. Use system restore to jump back to before you installed the drivers and you're sorted.

    Same thing happened when I tried to put Nero 6's image drive onto Vista... It wouldnt uninstall. I'm guessing these emulation drivers are causing conflicts with the OS. I got rid of it by reformatting it also.

    I can't get virtual clone drive to load I click on it and ask me how many drives P want. I click ok and nothing. There no icon is task tray.

    no icon on task tray, but it does seem to work.
    just double click on any image and it will mount it.

    I got version 54.11 installed and running, but experienced some problems with copying many files and restarting so I have just uninstalled it to see if things run better.

    Will try Power iso and see if it's better.
