i have vista basic running on my vostro 1400... i have 2 queries

    1. How do I enable hibernate in my shutdown menu option ?

    2. I tried doing a windows update and before it completed, i stopped it thinking of doing it another day. When I do a windows update again, the old updates dont come up again. Instead if I check on update history, I can see the old update as failed and unable to restart it. any idea how i could sort this out.

Bluetooth update question comes up each time i boot because of this.

    thanks

    1) By holding Shift
    2) Are you doing Automatic updates?
If no, go to the Windows update site manually & downloading them.

I had a similar sit with the update issue and had to reboot to clear everything. It then downloaded fine.
