This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    vista keeps filling hard drive?

    Ok, I'm not sure what this person was talking about therefore; I'm not sure what I'm talking about...
    Something to do with having a specific amount of room on your hard drive, then it seems a little less, then less, and your really not putting anything on it....
    Does vista have a characteristic that does this? I thought I even read something about this, but I'm not 100% sure....

    Is it just newly created system restore points? They take up a lot of room.

    If that's what it is, you can always delete old restore points.

    Yea,for new vista users, the space reduction can be a bummer.
    Had that issue,and I only have a 120Gb drive,so thanks God I found that thread,and Les 's guide on optimising vista ... :D
