    i have a copy of vista premium on the computer my girlfriend just bought, and my new lappy is comming with basic. is their a way for my to be able to run premium on my PC because she has the original disc and stuff.

    I don't think so because it registers as a serial code. I wouldn't know because I got Vista pre-installed.

    Well, what you could do is keep the Vista Premium on the computer, and with the new laptop use the Anytime Upgrade to upgrade from Basic to Premium. If you mean running Premium on both computers with one CD and one serial code, no, it doesn't work.

    oh, that sucks. its not worth it for me to upgrade, just if its possible then why not.
