    vista premium battery drainer?

    Does windows vista premium drain more battery than vista basic since it has AERO and if so approximately how much more?

    It really doesn't use much more power with Aero, nothing to worry about atleast.

    Yea I agree with csinth. It doesn't really drain the battery. You'll be better off worrying about if your wifi is on or screen brightness or performance settings.

    For those who use Omnipass, have you noticed an increased battery drain? personally, while i was using it, my Compal HGL30's battery laseted for 2:15, and without Omnipass it is lasting around 3 hrs.
