    vista reformatting, steps? help plz?

    im bit rusty with computers, i want to clean my laptop as im planning to do this on a regular basis though im new to vista, is there any important things i need to know before attempting so?, my first problem "system partition is not allowed to be reformatted"

    i think theres something wrong with the boot, as the system would freeze occasionally

    any advice or help would be much appreciated, much thanks to all

    What model laptop do you have?

    There are many guides for most models out there.
