i have recently purchest a HP Pavilion dv2000 with windows vista, and now find i can't download data from my leica 900 (GPS unit).

i was using activesync on windows XP, but since it is not competible with vista i tried downloading Windows mobil device center, sync center and sync toy, none where able to find the GPS unit, i tried downloading drivers from
the GPS's home page and still no luck.

if anyone has any ideas about how i can overcome this problem i would be most greatful

I recommend contacting the GPS manufacturer for assistance. If they don't provide Vista support for that device, you might have to either run XP inside VMWare or dual boot with XP and Vista.
