This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i just bought a notebook pre-installed with windows vista home premium. i need to install some programs (pro desktop, techsoft 2d design) which work fine in xp but the installer just doesn't run in vista.

    i really need these so i can work from home as well as in school, is there anyway to get these to run in vista?
