Hello i recently got a new laptop (info in sig) and it is running 64 bit windows vista. my problem is about every 30 seconds it stutters for about a quarter of a second. It only does this during games and hulu/netflix, i have not had this problem while listening to music yet.

so before my warranty expires i just wanted to know if this is a driver problem or is something wrong with my sound card? and any info on how to fix this would be appreciated.

    thank you for your time

Get your Vista and Flash up to date first and see.

Since it is a 64 bit OS it could very well be drivers. Normally you would not blame the sound card itself especially if it was working on another OS. 64 bit drivers are still in beta stages and that could be an indication of 64 bit driver bugs. Poor video drivers could cause this too because if the video driver has too many flaws it could bring down the whole system's performance.
