Hi, I just got a new harddrive for my notebook and I am using my old harddrive as an external one atm, so I am just wondering if the installation files for vista sp1 is hidden somewhere in your harddrive after you have installed it or I have to download sp1 all over again.

    Thanks for the help.

If you used the standalone sp1 updater, then maybe. Otherwise I don't think so.

If you downloaded through Windows Update, the files are....... I actually have no clue. You might be out of luck on this one.
