    are there many vista transformation pack users here?

    are your machines runnign right with it installed?

    I used to use 8.0.1 for quite a while, decided to uninstall due to instability and just plain inconvenience. I tried version 9 and it was a disaster. Much much slower and all.

    While I do like the visual eye candy that Vista [or rather Aero] is, the main reason I chose XP is for its stability, speed, and ease of use. VTP is too Vista-ish, not just in terms of aesthetics, if you catch my drift...

    Had once with my XP. Hours later uninstalled it. It seems you have to update and organize its database or else crashes occur, which is a pain, ofcourse. When you wanted vista, just get the real thing, not transformation packs. They'll just leave your system crippled.

    I find 9.0 really good...only thing i find is that the the task bar is a bit funky...
