    hi all,

I bought a Toshiba Satellite U205-S5067 during my stay in California [Frye store]. I uploaded video clips of my stay in the USA to the aforementioned laptop but on playback using windows media player no sound could be heard. i have the same files in my dell 8600 bought in the UK 4 years ago. using the dell laptop, there is no problem with the video clips sound. I recorded the video clips using sony SR72 videocam bought in the UK. Please advise on how to make the sound be heard using the toshiba laptop.

    use vlc media player

edit: i am not sure that it will work with vista, but give it a shot, also try some other media players.
