is there a way so... the bluetooth settings stick for vista/xp instead of having to reconnect it everytime i swap between.....
-
No. It's virtually 2 different computers
-
but, when i do vista/linux.. it just works in both... wouldnt they be "two virtually different computers" also? its just the way they connect is different.
-
What do you mean?
-
i have vista/xp/linux triple booting, when i use my mouse from vista to linux, it just works, i dont need to reconnect bluetooth, but when i try to use it in xp, i have to remove it from bluetooth and reconnect it to work.

u might look into the bt mouse driver and stack that u currently use under xp. may try to set it to load earlier or uncheck the option to power this device down to save energy (something in that direction)
cheers ... -
Make sure the BT ID name for all 3 OS's are the exact same
This happened to me on ubuntu/vista. I had to keep on pairing them because they had the same MAC address but not same user ID. My phone got confused.
vista/xp dualboot- bluetooth
