    vista/xp dualboot- bluetooth

    is there a way so... the bluetooth settings stick for vista/xp instead of having to reconnect it everytime i swap between.....

    but, when i do vista/linux.. it just works in both... wouldnt they be "two virtually different computers" also? its just the way they connect is different.

    i have vista/xp/linux triple booting, when i use my mouse from vista to linux, it just works, i dont need to reconnect bluetooth, but when i try to use it in xp, i have to remove it from bluetooth and reconnect it to work.

    u might look into the bt mouse driver and stack that u currently use under xp. may try to set it to load earlier or uncheck the option to power this device down to save energy (something in that direction)

    Make sure the BT ID name for all 3 OS's are the exact same

    This happened to me on ubuntu/vista. I had to keep on pairing them because they had the same MAC address but not same user ID. My phone got confused.
