I want to make an image of my OEM Disk OS that includes new drivers and downloads. I know how to make an image of the disk using PowerISO, or MagicISO, but where do I put the new updated drivers and software downloads, so that they install when the operating system does?

You looking at the wrong place, google search "Acronis true image" and programs with similar functions.

I have a car and I want put a new engine in it. I won't tell you what kind of car it is, just that it is a car. Can you tell me how to do it?

Since there are between four and five operating systems actively in use, don't you think maybe what OS you are talking about is a "need to know" piece of information?

    criminey....

Focusing on the two most used OS

    try nlite for XP
    try vlite for Vista

I suggest you download a program called vLite. It not only puts the drivers in the right place, but it allows you do more, like automate the install.

Acronis will allow you to make an image of your installation, but I think you are looking for something else.

I assume you want to take the Vista setup CD, and automate the setup, including installing all your drivers.
