i have my led attached to my laptop via hdmi cable so i can watch movies, you tube videos, etc while working (extended desktop mode i think).
it all works well except for the fact that when i watch web videos ( i use chrome) fullscreen, it reverts to windowed mode when i mouse click on my primary monitor. it doesnt revert back when i scroll or move the mouse, only when i click.
how do i make the videos stay in fullscreen mode? tia

ps doesnt happen when im using media players.

Chrome updates it's own version of Flash, so I think you need to wait until the next Chrome comes out or have a look in Flash options.

I looked into the settings and global settings of flash within chrome and found nothing I could tweak.
I don't have flash itself installed on my laptop for security reasons. Is there anything else I can try short of installing flash?

Flash is bundled inside Chrome. I can only think you would need to install a separate older version of Flash specificaly for Chrome to restore the old behaviour. If you search around you probably have to change something in Chrome extensions to do that.

Or if not that, you might need to install an older version of "Chromium" that won't auto-update or similar. Search through the changelogs to find out when Flash was updated.

    Best of luck,

i dont think you can install or revert to an older version of flash with chrome aside from reverting back to an older version of chrome itself.

well anyways, i tried using ie9 and it did not go into windowed mode on a mouse click! im thinking its using html 5. now how to make chrome default to html 5 on yt instead of defaulting to flash.

You shouldn't be watching movies while "working" anyway...
