    on my alienware m15x the webcam no longer works. doesn't seem to be a hardware problem but it's not being recognized. any ideas how to fix this?

    What do you mean by 'not being recognized'? Can't you find it in device manager? Also one more thing, does (if there is anyone) cam light come on?

    It Didn't Work And So Tried To Find It In Device Manager, Found Face Recognition And Deleted It, Based On An Advice On Fixing My Esata.
    When I Open The Webcan Pgm I Just Get Color Bars.
