This weird folder showed up under my C: drive recently and I was wondering if it's important and if I can delete it (or move it to a different location). It's titled "2e9acfb7b3b2ef7985f1bb8b2563e1" and is directly under C: w/ the Program Files, DELL, Docs and Settings, and WINDOWS folder. Inside is a folder called "update", and inside that, an app file called "update" and a file "updspapi.dll". Viewing properties of the dll file it says "Windows servicing api". The reason I ask about this is mostly just a personal preference of mine, I don't like opening the C: drive and seeing some dumb extra folder named "2e9acfb7b3b2ef7985f1bb8b2563e1". Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I believe that folder is a Windows Update temp folder. It is created whenever you install a Windows file using Windows Update. Deleting it should have no effect on your system whatsoever.
