Hey everyone. I've installed WindowsBlind to change some windows themes, but now I do not want it anymore. I uninstalled it and now my icons are more squished together than before. I tried going to the appearance advance area to change it to the default, but I do not see any difference. Is there a software or anything that can return it back to normal? Thanks.

You may want to try rebuilding your icon cache. I think the link is in the system32 folder.
I'm not sure if that will change anything though. Window Blinds is stand-alone and runs on top of explorer...so I'm not sure why your icon spacing would still be messed up.
Did you make sure ALL remnants of WB are gone? Try going into Safe Mode and checking/deleting what's left. Then you can try altering settings there.
Good luck. -
I tried your ways and it still seems squished. Before most of file names would be there, but now they are all shorten because there are no spaces in between them. It is really starting to annoy me.
Can you check your computer, is the default icon spacing both horizontal and vertical 43?

yea, WB left a bad taste in my mouth aswell. Hope you can sort out your problem.
What about system restore to before you installed it? -
can you post a screenshot?

Yea, here is a screen shot of my documents. This is an example of how my other icons look like including my desktop.
You can see some of the words are even shorten. -
The desktop ones can be changed in the advanced appearance settings. not sure if that affects the others or not.
I never use that view in folders, I always use list or details. -
looks like the horizontal spacing has been reduced. just go into the appearance tab and widen it up until it's where you like it.
weird icon spacing
