Whenever I set my computer to sleep then wake it up again the scrolling feature of the (microsoft) mouse is rediculously slow. What should be three lines per notch scroll speed becomes one line per 30 notches. I have to restart the machine to get it working properly again. Adjusting it to "one page per notch" gets it back to "normal" speed, but then on restart that's way too fast.
Mouse driver is up to date and touchpad scrolling still works fine. This is on Vista Business 32 with fresh batteries in the mouse.
Anyone have any idea where to start looking for a solution? Could it be some weird interaction with power management drivers? It's driving me nuts!

Verify that the system would not turn this device (mouse) off at sleep, or let it use the mouse to wake the system up?

I've got a problem with a T61, Vista 32 business, where the USB mouse will suddenly scroll to the top and stay there, no matter what. No settings have been changed in Control Panel. Unplugging the mouse and using the keyboard and ultranav works, and a reboot will solve the problem for a little while, but it keeps coming back. What can I do?
