when i try to find out my screen manufacturer the only thing i see is Generic PnP Monitor, no SEC no LPL no QDS...
-
-
PnP = Plug 'n' Play.
That's what mine says. -
-
actually, nope, most of the time even if you dismantle the laptop, you wont find the manufacturer on the LCD. Why does it matter to you so much anyway??
-
i dont want to have a sec monitor...but i have just find out i own one..sh*t happens...
-
Now you've lost me entirely.

You have to go here:
Go to control panel > device manager > monitor >
Then right click on whatever is in the monitor list then click Properties
Then go to the Details tab and find Hardware ID field in the drop down menu. Check the other ones too.
Anything with a SEC means Samsung. Anything with LPL means LG. I dont know about the other manufacturers. -
what Generic PnP Monitor is!!??
