    could someone tell me what software i can use to change colours of this pic please and is it something easy to do
    thanks in advance .
    i have found some wallpapers i like but just want to change colors

    thanks for offer but that was just an example .the pic im after is the one linked bellow but obviously just the wallpaper. ive seen the pic before just like to know how to make it blue.
    for instance how would i make the gold pic blue like the above image in photoshop or gimp

    Well, I recommend you use Paint.NET to make it easier; it has a much more user-friendly interface compared to say GIMP. Inside Paint.NET, all you have to do is paste the image, then go to the adjustments menu and play around with the 'Hue/Saturation' option.

    In Gimp, you would mess with color menu(its between the layer and tools menu). In that menu, I suggest playing with colorize, color-balance, levels Brightness-Contrast, or Hue-Saturation.

    Best thing is to use layers so that you can experiment better( Gimp Beginner Guide ).

    With colorize alone:

    With colorize and Hue-Saturation, you can do something like this:

    With colorize and levels:
    [​IMG]

    And lastly colorize and Color Balance:
    [​IMG]


    Just play around and see what happens :)
