    Hello there

I work for a charity providing web space for people that have made filma about human rights issues. Quite often we get work send in on DVD, this is casues a problem as we have to then find a way of converting it to an avi ad then compress it.

Could anyone recommend a really good dvd ripping software. One that has lots of options and do VCDs aswell.

    Man thanks

    Jamie

If you are refering to extracting the files from the DVD I would suggest DVDFab, but rippers don't do the conversion. VideoHelp.com has lots of guides for just about every format. Good Luck.

I use FairUse Wizard to rip DVDs into AVI files (XviD, DivX, x264, etc.). There is a free version with very few limitations (the file size is limited to 700MB or lower). It works great, and there are plenty of options.

I'm not sure about the making video CDs, though.

Hopefully I answered your question correctly.
