Sorry if this has been posted before I did a search on the forms but nothing came up.
Out of firefox, google chrome, Internet Explorer, or any other internet browsers what is the most secure like identifying bad sites and stuff like that. What the better browser to use for better security? What do you guys think?
Thanks

Chrome is the best so far.
-
I'd say Firefox with the Add-ons Noscript and AdBlockPlus.

The SmartScreen Filter of IE8 is very good.
I haven't used FireFox in a very long time. My main browser is ChromePlus. But I use IE8 when I'm doing any online banking, as it has one of the best phishing filters. -
The all continuously develop...
When IE8 came out it was the safest browser in its default state, that may have changed a bit right now because they continuously get patched and adapted.
There is no simple "safest".
I'd keep off Chrome:
this is why: http://www.srware.net/software_srware_iron_chrome_vs_iron.php
But else, IE8, Firefox, Opera it doesn't really matter, -
IE8, then Chrome, then Firefox/Opera. If you disable UAC, they more or less become equal. IE8's SmartScreen filter used to suck, but these days, every phishing link that I receive gets flagged correctly, so I'd say that they're doing fairly well now.

mmm, adblock plus is showing as obsolete, is there an up-to-date version, link?
***OBSOLETE***
The author of Filterset.G no longer maintains it, and the website it is hosted on is defunct. This add-on page is available for historical reasons only. Please use Adblock Plus with one of its recommended subscriptions instead. -

ie8 with no script, adblock and and flashblock is better than firefox with no script and adblock plus
-
Chrome is far from secure. Their early, incomplete implementation of an unratified standard (html v5) is pretty damned dangerous.

The IE8 XSS filter does protect but in a very different (and more limited) way than the Add-on Noscript.
(And it even offers possibilities, contrary to it's goal.....Check out this discussion (on the Noscript dev. Giorgio Maone's blog) -

Chrome Flaw Could Reveal User Identity
December 17, 2009
By eSecurityPlanet Staff
A bug in the latest version of Google’s Chrome browser could leak the identity of a user trying to surf anonymously.
“The flaw means that domain-name queries are made by a user’s local network even when Chrome is configured to use a third-party proxy,” writes The Register’s Dan Goodin. “Users typically use proxies to conceal their local IP address in an attempt to browse anonymously.” -

Also the web sites themselves would determine if your session with them is secure or not (https anyone?)
cheers ... -
if your not stupid any internet brower is fine
i havent had any problems with IE going all the way back to the first
most problems come from users that just willy nilly click on anything that pops up etc
whats the most secure internet browser?
